Copied – Copy and Paste Everywhere App Reviews

Copies & Retains 10 Different Copies

Works smoothly, especially when set up as a widget. Use it all the time to transfer multiple copies between apps.

Awesome!

Great tool! I use it al the time. Thanks Developer!

Great but

Needs landscape mode. Widget doesnt load for my device iPhone 6s Plus.

Paid App Not Any Better Than Free

The paid version advertises the handling of various format, and available templates for formats, and... It handles ONLY plain text and there are no templates! Tried copying a yaml file - it pasted one messed up text doc. Stay away from the paid version and this developer for no ethics.

Only plain text mode, no formatted text copy

No matter what I tried, only plain text will get copied and pasted. Wonder what function is the plain text button, as nothing is happening.

A great utility just keeps getting better!

Copied was great before, but wow, v2 just took its functionality to a whole new level. Superb features and an excellent interface made it a no-brainer to upgrade. Even with the Macs Universal Clipboard enabled, I use Copied on my Mac and iOS devices because Copied does SO much more. It has become a highly essential app. Love it.

Update: I bought the iOS IAP, and I hate IAP.

# Freemium Done Right ## Free iOS Version Is Great The free version of the app is all you need. It only stores 10 entries, which is about all Ill remember. After using it for a few weeks, I found it very useful, and I never liked clipboard managers. ## IAP Is Temping I wish there was a direct purchase version. In App Purchases will not share with family, nor can they be backed up. Still, iCloud, lists, and automation features are strong incentives to upgrade. ## Mac Version Is Too Expensive The macOS version costs as much as full writing tools. Thats just nuts. The author needs to rethink pricing. For now, stick to the free iOS app and use Continuity to save a few snippets. ## Update 1 After exceeding the 10 entry limit a few time, it was time to buy the app… for iOS. This really, to me, acted as a functional demo. I am hooked, and more productive. It works great with iA Writer, which has a customizable keyboard toolbar. The macOS app is still way to expensive, IMHO. That said, my plan is to switch to iOS as my main platform. ## Update 2 There seems to be a bug in the Text Formaters sync. It worked to initialize them on both devices, but not since. I can see full scripts not syncing because Apple is still leery of syncing scripts in general, but the basic ones are not scripts. ## Update 3 Ive noticed the app does not rotate to landscape mode on the iPhone 6S Plus. This is becoming a problem, especially when trying to view panoramic images. They appear as slivers. This also hides the more advanced landscape keyboard… which has cut, copy, and paste buttons. Its very frustrating. ## Update 4 Ive put a lot of information into this app, and while it isnt hard to get it out, there is no quick way to export or backup data. I can use a merge on a list, but not with images. I can directly paste things, but thats tedious. I imagine the Mac version has files you can backup, but I only use it in iOS.

Best

Best copy paste app.

Good, but missing a few important items

Copied is a well planned and designed app, that is very useful - especially when used from the Copied keyboard input mode. However, there are two main shortfalls that make this disappointing - First, it only pastes in plain text. If you copy text with various fonts, bold and other rich enhancements all are lost when pasted back into a text field. Even Apples Notes copies formatted rich text and let you paste that into documents. Second, you cant use Copied keyboard to paste in pictures! Disappointing as this would save a lot of time navigating and click around hunting for pictures in Photos or elsewhere. If the developer adds these missing features, then this would be a GREAT app worth 5 stars and much praise.

Awesome utility ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️???????

OK there are very few times that I actually am excited about software, but this one I actually am. I found out about this product from a video Tutorial from screencastsonline.com. I highly recommend watching that one. There are so many ways to copy little snippets of text from anywhere on your iPhone, iPad or Mac. There is an app, widgets, share extensions, etc. They even have a keyboard for the iPhone or iPad Apple has a very basic version of copying and pasting between the iPhone and Mac but its very limited and you have to have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on etc This is the way to go using iCloud to sync between devices and its really seamless. By the way if you want to watch that tutorial I happened to know that you can purchase that tutorial individually without having to pay a monthly subscription. They have a members app and they also have a app if you want to just buy individual tutorials. I did figure it out without having to look at the video but after I looked at the video they was so much more that I learned how to do than just the basics. I wouldnt be surprised if Apple buys this application from the developer its so great. ?

I Use Constantly

Much better than other clipboard apps I have used. The IAP adds some significant features, particularly synchronization between devices. Very useful even without the IAP ( many free apps wont do anything without an IAP). I bought the update because I find the added features very useful, especially iCloud sync among devices. A PC program would be nice. It already syncs with MACs. BTW, macstories dot net has an excellent discussion of all the features as used by a professional writer.

Useful and easy to use.

I have not upgraded to the "plus" part of the app yet but I love the basic functions of the app.

?

Italian and Spanish language please, Apple Watch?

Yes, loving an app, is possible :)

... and it is certainly the case here. One of those utilities that truly does make life easier everyday. I find most apps are not necessary to have across all are not to have across all three of my devices: iPad Pro, iPhone7 and MacBook. However, some are and make my life a whole lot easier, and this is one of them. As a student and entrepreneur with a busy schedule and multiple todo lists, calendars, writing assignments, notes, etc, I am copying and pasting information all day, all night and its nice to have a way to categorize and keep all of these pieces of important information so I can make a time to go through my lists and assign what I have copied into all of the appropriate areas. Also, I use digital textbooks at all times when possible , plus need to read many research PDFs all of which allow for note taking, which allows me to go back, copy and paste my notes into a folder for study guides or for writing papers. I know that there is now a universal copy and paste feature across all new Apple devices, but this is just quick, convenient and well worth the very small amount of money invested. My only wish is that the developers keep this great app up and if necessary add features that will continue to help support them as well.

Works perfectly!

Ive been using clipboard extenders for over ten years, and this is the first that allows sharing across different devices. Its pretty awesome.

Must Have App

I record a lot of things. Many of which are collected from digital sources. I could do it without an app to help, but with this app available and voiceover accessible, why would I? Copied makes copying and pasting or keeping snippets so quick and easy. Copying links, images, or just text snippets, this app is great!. There are several ways to copy information into Copied. Once the info has been copied you have some nice options for storing and manipulating. I have it installed on all my devices, and it works seemlessly between them. And yes, I just copied this review so I can keep a copy of it.

Tried it. No Go. Was looking for something simple akin to Windows Clipboard.

Need something automatic. It takes to much time to interact with. I dont want to have to share it and categorize it. It might be great for pics and vids, idk, I did not test that portion. Its baffling that a paid upgrade is needed for categorizing text into lists or folders requires a paid upgrade.

Best in class, slick, useful, speedy sharing between devices.

A great and useful app. On my Mac, it records the past 10 copies (number of copies can be set to suit). Lots of clipboard apps do that, and Copied does it well, too. But the best thing about Copied is that each item copied is automatically shared amount MacOS and IOS devices. Super simple and "just works." The price of the upgrade is tiny compared to the amount of time and effort Ive saved (without even trying). Give yourself a break, try the free version, but go ahead and drop the $3. UPDATE: After more than six months use, still love this app and use it every day. Have started to use the named-clipboard feature, which is great for snippets.

Hunters and Collectors

This is great app for collecting bits and pieces from the internet. Some infographics, text, images etc.

One of the best clipboard manager!

Ive been using Copied for a while now. I enjoy its simplicity and user friendly interface! I would definitely recommend this app to friends and family!
